These Terms of Service govern your use of ResumeJe (resumeje.my), operated in Malaysia. They are legally binding and governed by the laws of Malaysia.
By accessing, browsing, or using ResumeJe, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not access or use the service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use ResumeJe. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Each individual is limited to one account.
To keep our platform secure and fair for all job seekers, the following conduct is strictly prohibited:
No phishing, spam, or creating deceptive résumés with malicious intent.
Do not upload copyrighted content or materials you do not possess legal rights to use.
Automated scraping, excessive reverse-engineering, or bot abuse of AI endpoints is forbidden.
No fake, altered, or reused bank receipts / DuitNow references at /topup.
You retain 100% ownership of your résumé content and personal details. You grant ResumeJe a strictly limited licence to process your content solely to provide the services you request (rendering previews, calculating ATS scoring, generating AI improvements, and facilitating optional public sharing).
Every new user receives 1 free trial credit for each AI feature (Upload & Rewrite, ATS Score, Cover Letter, Section Enhancement, Summary Generation) so you can evaluate each tool with zero financial commitment.
Additional credits can be purchased manually: RM10 provides 2 universal credits usable across any AI feature. To top up, transfer payment via online banking or DuitNow to our Touch 'n Go account and submit your transfer reference and receipt on the /topup page. Credits are credited once verified by an administrator.
Credits have no cash redemption value, are strictly non-transferable, and do not expire while your account remains active. If an AI request encounters a technical failure, the credit is automatically restored to your balance.
Once credits are approved and credited to your account balance, purchases are non-refundable. Refunds are only issued for payments rejected during verification or verified duplicate transactions. Submitting forged receipts or reused references will cause immediate request rejection and account suspension.
AI-generated suggestions, rewritten bullet points, ATS match scores, and cover letters are created algorithmically and may not always reflect absolute accuracy. You bear sole responsibility for verifying, reviewing, and editing any AI-generated text before submitting it to prospective employers. ResumeJe does not guarantee interview invitations, employment offers, or specific ATS outcomes.
While we strive to ensure continuous uptime, the service — including AI features reliant upon external model providers — may experience temporary interruptions, maintenance windows, or modifications without prior notice.
You are free to stop using ResumeJe at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, engage in abusive automated scraping, or attempt fraudulent payment submissions.
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, ResumeJe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service or reliance on AI outputs.
We may revise these Terms of Service periodically. Whenever revisions occur, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be updated. Your continued use of the platform after updates indicates your acceptance.
